Pot of Gold Raffle
Woman’s Life Chapter 836 Port Huron, Michigan, raffled off a “Pot of Gold” filled with lotto tickets at the Port Huron Prowlers hockey game to support the National Alliance on Mental Illness Blue Water Area (NAMI). Including Matching Funds from Woman’s Life, the chapter raised $545 to help NAMI change the negative stigma of mental health issues through support groups, education, and peer-to-peer training.
Cash Raffle For A Cause
Members of Woman’s Life Chapter 800 Fort Gratiot, Michigan, sold tickets for a $500 cash raffle during Blue Water Safe Horizons’ Laugh Out Loud Comedy Show. One lucky winner took home the cash prize, but Blue Water Safe Horizons was the big winner. Including Matching Funds from Woman’s Life, Chapter 800 raised $1,400 to help end domestic violence and provide shelter for victims.
Cash for Camp
Members of Woman’s Life Chapter 807 Port Huron, Michigan, conducted a Dash for Cash at Camp Cavell’s annual fundraising event. Members floated around the room with butterfly nets for one
minute to collect cash donations. With Matching Funds from Woman’s Life, the chapter will donate more than $1,000 to the camp, which provides new challenges and opportunities for children and adults from various social and economic backgrounds.
