Risk Management for Newlyweds
While life insurance isn't necessarily the most glamorous of financial services, it can still deliver peace of mind. For most young married couples, term insurance is the best type of coverage because you're only paying for the death benefit. And you certainly wouldn't want to be without it if you have children. However, term policies grow more expensive as you get older. You may want to consider a more permanent type of coverage, such as whole or universal life. These policies have both cash value accumulation and death benefit features.
